Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Children with diagnosed Mild Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Toe walking present for more than 50% of steps during gait assessment due to Achilles tendon tightness
- Able to follow simple verbal commands
- Sufficient gross motor skills present
You will not qualify if you...
- Toe walking caused by neurological or orthopedic disorders unrelated to idiopathic toe walking
- History of Achilles tendon or lower limb surgery
- Currently receiving other physical therapy targeting gait or posture
- Severe behavioral or sensory issues interfering with treatment
- Non-ambulatory children
