Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Black or African American
  • Participated in the screening examination portion of the study
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Current eye pain greater than 8 out of 10
  • Sudden decrease in vision within 1 week
  • Double vision that does not stop when blinking and is not affected by covering one eye
  • Pregnant women
  • Prisoners
  • Cognitive impairment preventing giving ocular and social history
  • Planning to move outside of Michigan or beyond driving distance to the church within 6 months
