Post-herpetic neuralgia PHN is a painful complication that can occur after herpes zoster, caused by reactivation of the Varicella-Zoster virus. Both medications are given orally, and the study will monitor the effects of these treatments over the 4-week period. During the study, participants pain levels will be measured using the Visual Analog Scale at 4 weeks to assess treatment effectiveness. Researchers will monitor participants throughout the trial, which starts in April 2025 and ends in September 2025. The trial involves adults aged 18 to 50 diagnosed with PHN following herpes zoster. Safety and treatment outcomes will be observed during this time.
