Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients scheduled for caesarean sections
  • Aged between 18 and 40 years
  • ASA physical status I or II
  • Planned to undergo general anesthesia
  • Between 35 and 40 weeks of pregnancy
  • Undergoing 1st or 2nd cesarean section
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Preference for spinal or epidural anesthesia
  • Age below 18 or above 40 years
  • ASA physical status III or higher
  • History of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cardiac or respiratory diseases
  • Diagnosis of preeclampsia, eclampsia, or HELLP syndrome
  • History of using drugs affecting the cardiovascular system
  • Presence of placenta previa, placenta accreta
