Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 18 and 75 years
- Patients with pancreatic cancer, biliary duct cancer, or ampullary cancer undergoing pancreatoduodenectomy
- Tumor assessed as resectable or borderline resectable by preoperative imaging
You will not qualify if you...
- Benign tumors of the head of the pancreas
- Tumor involving more than 180 degrees of the superior mesenteric vein or presence of distant metastasis as shown by enhanced CT
- Conversion to open surgery due to intraoperative difficulty
