What this Trial Is About
This clinical trial focuses on adults aged 20 to 60 who require immediate implant placement in the upper front teeth area. Researchers are evaluating whether the socket-shield technique can better preserve bone density, bone levels, and the health of the tissues around the implant compared to the conventional immediate implant method. The study aims to answer key questions about bone preservation and soft tissue health after implant placement. Participants receive immediate implant placement using either the conventional technique or the socket-shield technique following tooth extraction. They are divided into two groups one group receives the implant by the conventional method, while the other group receives the socket-shield method. The study includes clinical and radiographic exams, such as cone beam computed tomography CBCT, to monitor outcomes. During the 9-month follow-up period, participants attend regular visits for clinical and radiographic evaluations to assess bone density, bone levels, probing depth, gingival health, plaque levels, gingival thickness, and keratinized tissue width. Researchers track implant stability and peri-implant tissue health through these assessments to understand the healing process and overall outcomes of each technique.
