You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of primary pterygium according to diagnostic criteria
- Pterygium head invades the cornea by 2-5mm
- Patient agrees to surgical treatment and signs consent form
You will not qualify if you...
- History of previous eye surgery
- Presence of active ocular inflammatory lesions
- Recurrent or pseudopterygium
- Patient refuses surgery or cannot attend regular follow-ups
