  • Healthy volunteers aged 18 years or older who sign informed consent
  • Patients aged 18 years or older who sign informed consent
  • Patients referred for major orthopedic surgery (hip and knee replacement, bicompartmental and unicompartmental)
  • Patients referred for cardiothoracic surgery
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Individuals with active neoplastic diseases
  • Individuals with grade I, II, or III obesity
  • Individuals younger than 18 years
  • Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Individuals unable to understand information and make decisions
