Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults aged 18 to 65 years
- Solitary intrabony periodontal defect at least 4 mm
You will not qualify if you...
- Periodontitis with intrabony defect component 4 mm or more and defect angulation greater than 25 degrees
- Inability to comply with study procedures including maintaining good oral hygiene and attending follow-ups
- Heavy smokers (5 or more cigarettes per day)
- Presence of furcation involvement
- Full mouth plaque and bleeding scores (FMPS and FMBS) less than 15%
- Inability to fully understand the study and provide signed informed consent
