You may qualify if you...

  • Male pediatric patients aged 1 to 7 years
  • ASA physical status I or II
  • Scheduled for unilateral undescended testis surgery
  • Written informed consent obtained
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • History of neurological deficit or developmental delay
  • Bleeding disorder or known blood clotting problems
  • Allergy to local anesthetics
  • Infection or skin lesion at the injection site
  • Congenital spinal abnormality
  • Mental retardation or psychiatric history
  • Liver or kidney dysfunction
