What this Trial Is About

Researchers are evaluating imaging methods to better detect and understand endoleaks in patients who have undergone Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR) for aortic diseases. Endoleaks are a significant risk after EVAR, occurring in 20-50% of patients, and often require additional treatments to prevent aneurysm expansion or rupture. This study focuses on comparing three imaging techniques to improve the identification and classification of these endoleaks. The study compares three-phase CT angiography, contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), and dynamic CT angiography (d-CTA) to assess their effectiveness in detecting and characterizing endoleaks. These imaging methods are performed during the post-operative monitoring period to identify the type and source of endoleaks more accurately. The research aims to determine how well these methods agree in classifying endoleaks over a period of five years. Participants will undergo these imaging tests as part of their routine monitoring after EVAR. Researchers will evaluate the classification of endoleaks using CT angiography and compare it with the results from CEUS ultrasound over five years. The study will collect and analyze data on changes in endoleak classification to improve understanding and monitoring. This long-term follow-up helps track the reliability of each imaging method in detecting endoleaks and guiding patient care.
