Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Symptoms and signs typical of cervical spinal stenosis or cervical myelopathy confirmed by MRI showing central herniation or spinal stenosis at C3-C7 levels
  • Conservative treatment for more than 3 months was ineffective before surgery
  • Patients underwent cervical single open-door surgery
  • Informed consent obtained and complete follow-up after surgery
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy
  • Cervical kyphosis or instability
  • Cervical spondylosis caused by trauma, tumor, tuberculosis, or metabolic diseases
  • Need for revision surgery or combined anterior-posterior surgery
  • Severe neurological diseases affecting postoperative result evaluation
  • Psychopath
  • Contraindications for MRI or CT
