Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Willing to sign and date the consent form
  • Willing to comply with all study procedures and available for the study duration
  • Aged over 18 years
  • Fluent in English
  • Diagnosed with metastatic colorectal cancer, or a partner of such a patient, or a clinician treating these patients
  • For patients: current metastatic (Stage IV, recurrent) colorectal cancer diagnosis
  • For patients: ECOG status less than 2 or deemed appropriate by a clinician
  • For patients and partners: in a committed romantic relationship for more than 6 months
  • For patients and partners: access to computer/internet for video conferencing
  • For patients and partners: score greater than 0 on the Distress Thermometer
  • For clinicians: physician or advanced practice clinician such as oncologist, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, psychologist, or mental health provider
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Having a serious mental illness (e.g., psychotic disorder)
  • Having cognitive impairment (e.g., dementia)
  • Having a medical condition such as significant impaired sight or hearing that would affect participation
