Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Active duty service members
- 18 years old or older
- Present to the emergency department at NMCSD with suicidal ideation, plan, intention, or attempt, or assessed at elevated risk of suicidal behavior
- Able to understand and speak English
- Able to provide consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to provide informed consent due to impaired mental status such as acute intoxication, psychosis, mania, or altered consciousness
