Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Pathologic diagnosis confirmed by nasopharyngeal biopsy as nasopharyngeal carcinoma
- No distant metastasis
- Baseline MRI of nasopharynx and neck available
- Completed first course of treatment at the study hospital
- Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) score of 0 or 1
- Signed informed consent
- Able to follow up regularly and comply with test requirements
You will not qualify if you...
- Disease progression during intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)
- Previous or concurrent malignant diseases
- Inability to obtain tumor efficacy evaluation information
- Participation in other blinded clinical research
- Malignant tumors within past 5 years except non-melanoma skin cancer or pre-invasive cervical cancer
- Serious uncontrolled complications such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes, or heart failure
- Active systemic infection
- No or limited legal capacity
- Mental or physical disorders preventing understanding of study complications
- Pregnancy or lactation
