Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participants must be 50 years or older
- Must have a recent history of suicidal ideation, defined as passive thoughts about wanting to be dead or active thoughts about killing oneself without preparatory behavior
- Must live within the catchment area of the participating practices and hospitals
- Must have the capacity to give informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to provide consent due to severe mental or physical illness
- Unlikely to be available for outcome assessments due to temporary residence
