The objective of the resarch is to study the cytokine profile of patients with psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis in order to better understand the pathophysiology of the disease and the contribution of cytokines to the presence or absence of joint involvement. This research will compare cytokines levels in sera, in PBMC culture after LPS or CD3/CD28 agonist antibodies, and in skin biopsy.

Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age over 18 years old
- Signed informed consent
- For psoriasis patients: Psoriasis for at least 5 years
- For psoriasis patients: At least one skin lesion larger than 2 cm
- For psoriasis patients: No joint symptoms
- For psoriasis patients: No use of disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs)
- For psoriasis patients: No anticoagulant treatments or coagulation disease
- For psoriasis patients: Normal joint and enthesis ultrasound
- For psoriatic arthritis patients: Diagnosis according to CASPAR criteria
- For psoriatic arthritis patients: No use of disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs)
- For psoriatic arthritis patients: At least one synovitis at inclusion
- For controls: Age and sex matched without rheumatic or dermatologic diseases
- For controls: No corticosteroid or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug treatment
You will not qualify if you...
- For psoriasis patients: Joint damage according to CASPAR criteria
- For psoriasis patients: Ultrasound activity indicating chronic inflammatory rheumatism
- For all patients and controls: Lack of social protection rights
- For all patients and controls: Under judicial protection
- For all patients and controls: Under 18 years old
- For all patients and controls: Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- For all patients and controls: Incarcerated patients
