What this Trial Is About
The BNP-PL is a multicenter, observational study in which patients are prospectively followed in order to investigate clinical course and management of pulmonary hypertension in Poland. All patients diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension confirmed in right heart catheterization, will be eligible to participate in the study.

Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension or chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension after March 1, 2018 (incident cases) who are older than 3 months and meet specific hemodynamic criteria
- Patients diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension or chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension before March 1, 2018 (prevalent cases) who are older than 3 months and meet specific hemodynamic criteria
- Hemodynamic criteria include mean pulmonary arterial pressure of 25 mm Hg or more, mean pulmonary arterial wedge pressure or left ventricular end-diastolic pressure of 15 mm Hg or less, and pulmonary vascular resistance of 3 Woods or more
You will not qualify if you...
History of severe allergic reactions to study medication Currently pregnant or breastfeeding Recent participation in another clinical trial within the last 30 days Presence of uncontrolled medical conditions that could affect safety
