Researchers are conducting a multicenter observational study called the BNP-PL Registry to track and understand the clinical progression and management of pulmonary hypertension in Poland. This study focuses on patients diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension confirmed by right heart catheterization. The initiative is led by the Polish Cardiac Society and involves accredited pulmonary hypertension centers across Poland, with data managed by Jagiellonian University Medical College. The study collects patient information through an electronic platform without affecting their diagnosis or treatment. It includes patients of various ages, such as adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension, children with the same condition, and adults with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension. Data collection aims to describe current medical practices and patient outcomes related to these conditions. Participants are followed over time, with mortality tracked from enrollment for at least five years. No personal data is entered into the database to protect privacy. The study does not involve any experimental treatments but gathers observational data to better understand these diseases and their management in routine care settings.

Participants who undergo routine care are observed. Measurements are collected before and after routine healthcare to describe current practice and outcomes in pulmonary hypertension.
