Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 50 years or older
- Active smokers
- Former smokers who quit no more than 15 years ago
- Smoking history of more than 20 pack-years
- Risk-prediction model (PLCOm2012) score greater than 1.2%
- Signed informed consent
- Subjects enrolled in previous lung cancer screening with lung nodules larger than 4 mm and candidate for additional CT scans
- Subjects enrolled in previous lung cancer screening with negative CT scans
- Patients with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of lung cancer who are candidates for or have undergone surgical treatment
- Signed informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Previous or current cancer diagnosis, excluding skin cancers
- Cognitive or other issues preventing informed consent
- Severe lung or other serious diseases
- Low-dose CT scan done within the past 12 months
- CT scans not available at San Raffaele Hospital for lung cancer patients
- Previous neoadjuvant treatment for lung cancer patients
