Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults aged 18 to 65 years
- Patients undergoing unilateral nephrectomy
- American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) physical status II or III
You will not qualify if you...
- Patient refusal
- Age less than 18 years
- Allergy to any of the studied medications
- Midline incision
- Bilateral nephrectomy
- Distorted anatomy of the back such as kyphoscoliosis
- Known neurological disorders, psychiatric disorders, or chronic pain
- Local infection
- Hemodynamic instability
