Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18-65 years
- ASA Physical Status I-II
- Scheduled for elective laparoscopic colectomy
- Provided written informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Severe cardiac, hepatic, or renal disease
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or bronchial asthma
- Chronic use of opioid or psychotropic medications
- Atrioventricular block (grade II-III) or sick sinus syndrome
- Significant bleeding or hemodynamic instability during surgery
