Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 18 and 70 years
- Both males and females
- American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II
- Body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 35 kg/m2
- Scheduled for elective renal surgery or percutaneous nephrolithotomy
You will not qualify if you...
- Under 18 years of age
- Refusal to receive nerve block
- Infection at the injection site
- Blood clotting disorders (coagulopathy)
- Allergy to medications used in the study
- Psychiatric disorders or chronic pain syndromes
- Chronic use of opioids or substance abuse
- Quadriplegia
