Diagnostic Performance of an AI-based Model for TCM Constitution Classification Using Ophthalmic Imaging
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 18 and 60 years
- Diagnosis of chronic systemic diseases lasting one year or longer requiring continuous care or limiting daily activities, including cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, malignant tumors, diabetes, or chronic respiratory diseases
- Stable hypertension without acute episodes or under treatment
- Coronary heart disease confirmed by history or imaging
- Heart failure classified as NYHA class II-IV with left ventricular ejection fraction below 40%
- Stroke diagnosed by history or imaging
- Newly diagnosed, recurrent, or metastatic malignant tumors or receiving specific treatments
- Diabetes meeting specified blood glucose or hemoglobin criteria
- Chronic respiratory diseases including COPD or asthma with defined clinical and functional criteria
- Healthy individuals without systemic diseases requiring continuous care or limiting activities in the past year
- Clear diagnosis established by both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine
- No other ocular or systemic diseases affecting eye imaging acquisition
You will not qualify if you...
- Incomplete clinical data supporting diagnosis
- Severe clouding of ocular optical systems such as severe corneal opacification, grade IV or higher cataracts, or severe vitreous hemorrhage
- Acute systemic organic diseases like infections or organ failure preventing participation
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
