Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Clinically diagnosed with liver cirrhosis based on medical history, physical signs, laboratory tests, imaging, or liver biopsy
  • Have undergone a gastroscopy
  • Signed the informed consent form
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Previous esophageal variceal bleeding or having received TIPS or endoscopic treatment
  • History of liver cancer, portal vein thrombosis, or splenectomy
  • Use of drugs affecting platelet count, liver function, or coagulation within one week
  • Recent history of blood product infusion
