Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Women aged between 40 and 55 years
- Abnormal uterine bleeding such as menorrhagia or metrorrhagia lasting more than 3 months
- No ovarian lesion or local cause of bleeding like vaginal or cervical ulcer
You will not qualify if you...
- Women with postmenopausal bleeding
- Systemic causes of perimenopausal bleeding including diabetes, hypertension, or chronic liver disease
- Women on hormonal therapy or using contraception such as an intrauterine device (IUD)
- Women with contraindications for hysteroscopy such as cervical stenosis or pregnancy
