Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients older than 18 years with pulmonary nodules 3 cm or smaller in diameter
  • Pathologically confirmed lung adenocarcinoma
  • No history of other malignancies
  • Hematocrit measured accurately within 1 week before contrast enhanced dual energy CT examination
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • History of allergy to iodine contrast agents or inability to complete the examination for other reasons
  • No histopathology of invasion stage such as AAH, AIS, MIA, or IAC
  • History of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or other anti-tumor therapy before contrast enhanced dual energy CT
  • Poor image quality
  • Contrast enhanced dual energy CT scans performed 4 weeks or more before surgery
