Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Over 18 years of age and willing and able to provide informed consent
- Patients with no prior diagnosis of prostate cancer, planning to undergo prostate biopsy as clinical standard of care
- Men with elevated PSA and no prior biopsy
- Men with elevated PSA and a negative prior biopsy
- Patients with prior prostate cancer diagnosis managed with active surveillance, planning to undergo biopsy as clinical standard of care
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with any clinical contraindication to MRI
- Patients with metallic implants such as pacemakers or implantable cardioverter-defibrillators
- Patients with cochlear implants
- Patients with claustrophobia not relieved with medication
- Patients unable to lie flat for over 1 hour
- Patients with prior prostate surgery for prostate cancer (e.g. radical prostatectomy, focal ablation)
