This is a prospective non-randomised Phase I/II Radiotherapy (RT) study with patients recruited to escalated dose cohorts. Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Written informed consent obtained prior to any study-related procedures
- Age 18 years or older
- ECOG performance status 0 to 2
- Resectable or borderline resectable pancreatic adenocarcinoma per NCCN criteria
- Histologically confirmed pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma with staging cT1N0-2, cT2N0-2, or cT3N0-2 planned for pre-operative chemo-radiotherapy
- Imaging with CT thorax, abdomen, and pelvis plus MRI abdomen confirms no metastatic disease
- Females of child-bearing potential must not be pregnant or lactating and agree to use contraception; males with partners of child-bearing potential must use contraception
You will not qualify if you...
- Previous thoracic, abdominal, or pelvic radiation therapy
- Prior treatment for bilirubin regression other than stenting
- Known co-existing or prior malignancy within the last 5 years (except basal cell or squamous cell carcinoma of the skin) likely to interfere with treatment or outcome assessment
- Syndromes or conditions that increase radiosensitivity
- Uncontrolled illness or psychiatric/social conditions limiting compliance
- Any other significant clinical or laboratory condition making participation undesirable or limiting protocol compliance due to psychological, familial, sociological, or geographical reasons
