Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients aged between 18 and 75 years old
- Patients with a preoperative pathological diagnosis of gastric adenocarcinoma
- Patients with clinical tumor stage T1N1 or T2N0 according to preoperative examinations
- Patients planned for laparoscopic distal gastrectomy aiming for R0 surgical results
- Patients without severe heart, liver, lung, or kidney dysfunction
- Patients with Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status (ECOG PS) of 0-1
- Patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-II
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with a history of upper abdominal surgery
- Patients presenting as emergency cases
- Patients with other malignant diseases diagnosed within the past 5 years
- Patients who had prior neoadjuvant chemotherapy or radiation therapy
- Patients requiring simultaneous surgery for other malignant diseases
