Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Have type 1 or type 2 diabetes
- Are 18 years old or older
- Have been treated with insulin for at least 5 years before the study starts
- Have any form of diabetic retinopathy and macular edema
- Have HbA1c less than 10%
- Provide written informed consent before starting study activities
You will not qualify if you...
- Have any active infection or inflammation in or around the study eye
- Have uncontrolled glaucoma
- Have a history of inflammation or trauma in the study eye
- Have had intravitreal anti-VEGF therapy in the study eye within 3 months before baseline
- Have used corticosteroid intravitreal implants in the study eye at any time
