Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients with sickle cell nephropathy diagnosed clinically or histologically with confirmed Hb SS and eGFR (CKD-EPI) 65 135 ml/min/1.73m2
  • Previous living kidney donation
  • Age 40 years or older
  • No contraindication or allergy to trial medications
  • Willing and able to provide written informed consent

You will not qualify if you...

  • Under 40 years of age
  • Unable or unwilling to provide informed consent
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • Participation in other interventional research studies
