Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Adults 18 years and older admitted to intensive care with acute brain injury
  • Unconscious with a Glasgow Coma Scale less than 8 and unable to follow commands
  • Negative COVID-19 test on arrival
  • Healthy volunteers aged 18 years and older
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Under 18 years of age
  • Pregnant women
  • Patients who had a cardiac arrest on presentation
