Bilirubin levels will be measured before treatment and 24 hours after phototherapy begins. Comfort levels will also be evaluated at set intervals. The study runs from hospitalization through six hours post-intervention, with detailed physiological and skin condition tracking to assess the effects of bathing on infants receiving phototherapy.

Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Born at 35-41 gestational weeks
- Diagnosed with indirect hyperbilirubinaemia at 24 hours of birth or later
- No health problems
- Indication for phototherapy treatment
- Stable vital signs
- Parent or guardian consent to participate
You will not qualify if you...
- Newborns with ABO and Rh incompatibility
- Diagnosed with direct hyperbilirubinaemia
- Congenital anomalies
- Presence of skin lesions

Duration - Duration of phototherapy treatment
Participants receive phototherapy treatment for neonatal jaundice. The experimental group will have a bathtub bath before starting phototherapy. The control group will receive routine clinical care without additional intervention.
