Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Born at 35-41 gestational weeks
  • Diagnosed with indirect hyperbilirubinaemia at 24 hours of birth or more
  • No health problems
  • Indication for phototherapy treatment
  • Stable vital signs
  • Parents agreed to participate in the study
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Newborns with ABO and Rh incompatibility
  • Direct diagnosis of hyperbilirubinaemia
  • Congenital anomaly
  • Presence of skin lesions
