Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients aged 18-65 years with diagnosed coronary artery disease and no contraindications to cardiac rehabilitation and exercise testing
- Patients scheduled for cardiopulmonary exercise testing before starting cardiac rehabilitation
- Patients with sufficient cognitive function to complete the study and cooperate
- Healthy volunteers aged 18 years or older
- Healthy volunteers without chronic diseases such as uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, heart or kidney failure
- Healthy volunteers not taking regular medications
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with heart failure
- Patients with unstable angina pectoris
- Patients with complex ventricular arrhythmia
- Patients with a pacemaker
- Patients with orthopedic or neurological diseases preventing exercise
- Patients with kidney or liver disease
- Patients for whom exercise is contraindicated
- Patients with a history of inflammatory diseases
- Patients with a history of cancer or immunologic diseases
- Healthy volunteers with chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, heart or kidney failure
- Healthy volunteers on regular medications for the last 6 months
- Healthy volunteers under 18 years of age
