Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Confirmed diagnosis of HIV infection
  • Receiving combined antiretroviral therapy (cART) for more than 12 months
  • HIV viral load less than 50 copies/ml and CD4 cell count more than 350 cells/µl
  • No serious liver, heart, or kidney diseases
  • Understands the study and voluntarily agrees to participate with signed informed consent
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Active hepatitis B or C infection, or serious opportunistic infections
  • Serious chronic diseases such as diabetes or mental illness
  • History of pancreatitis during cART
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Poor adherence to treatment
  • Unable to complete follow-up assessments
