Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with ACL rupture diagnosed by MRI
- First-time unilateral ACL rupture treated at Peking University Third Hospital
- Normal BMI between 18.5 and 23.9 kg/m2
- Injury occurred within the last 6 months
- Affected knee has passed the acute stage with no redness, pain, inflammation, and has mostly restored motion
You will not qualify if you...
- BMI less than 18.5 or 24 kg/m2 and above
- History of injury or surgery to the opposite lower limb
- ACL injury older than 6 months
- Outerbridge cartilage damage rating II or III
- Meniscal tears expected to require suture surgery during ACLR
- Serious injury to posterior cruciate, medial collateral, or lateral collateral ligaments
- Metabolic syndrome or serious cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
- Unwillingness to accept the treatment
