A randomized controlled clinical study was conducted to elucidate the relationship between the lower extremity biomechanics of patients undergoing early gait training after ACLR surgery.The relationship between the biochemical characteristics of cartilage and the biomechanical risk index were proposed to providing exercise guidance and training for ACLR people and it is suggested that it can prevent and reduce the risk of cartilage degeneration early after operation.

Age: 18Years - 40Years

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients with ACL rupture diagnosed by MRI
  • First-time unilateral ACL rupture treated at Peking University Third Hospital
  • Normal BMI between 18.5 and 23.9 kg/m2
  • Injury occurred within the last 6 months
  • Affected knee has passed the acute stage with no redness, pain, inflammation, and has mostly restored motion
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • BMI less than 18.5 or 24 kg/m2 and above
  • History of injury or surgery to the opposite lower limb
  • ACL injury older than 6 months
  • Outerbridge cartilage damage rating II or III
  • Meniscal tears expected to require suture surgery during ACLR
  • Serious injury to posterior cruciate, medial collateral, or lateral collateral ligaments
  • Metabolic syndrome or serious cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
  • Unwillingness to accept the treatment
