Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Pregnant women during 1st trimester who had the routine dating scan at 11-13+6 gestational weeks including uterine arteries pulsatility index assessment
You will not qualify if you...
- Diabetes Mellitus (Type I or II)
- Maternal age under 18 years
- Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than 40
- Contraindications for physical activity including multiple pregnancies, vaginal bleeding, hypertension or gestational hypertension, uncontrolled thyroid diseases
- Cardiovascular diseases such as valvular diseases, congenital heart diseases, cardiomyopathies, atrial fibrillation, coronary heart disease
- Respiratory diseases including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- Systemic diseases such as cancer and autoimmune diseases
- Other diseases considered barriers to physical activity during pregnancy
