Researchers are evaluating the effects of Mulligan mobilization with or without the Neil Asher technique on pain, shoulder range of motion, and disability in patients with adhesive capsulitis. This condition causes pain and stiffness in the shoulder joint and nearby muscles, reducing range and strength. This randomized controlled trial focuses on adults aged 40 to 60 years diagnosed with stage 2 primary adhesive capsulitis, aiming to understand how these treatments impact symptoms over four weeks. Participants will be divided into two groups randomly. Both groups receive heating pad and TENS therapy. Group A receives Mulligan mobilizations plus the Neil Asher technique, performed three times a week for four weeks, including specific shoulder mobilizations and Neil Asher sessions. Group B receives Mulligan mobilization combined with conventional physiotherapy treatments such as postural correction exercises, therapeutic exercises, and joint stretching. Both groups attend treatment sessions four times per week for four weeks. During the study, pain levels will be measured using the Numeric Pain Rating Scale, shoulder disability assessed by the Shoulder Pain and Disability Index (SPADI), and shoulder range of motion measured with a Universal Goniometer at the start and after four weeks. Researchers will analyze these measurements to evaluate changes. Participants will be monitored throughout the study period, which begins in December 2024 and concludes in June 2025.
