This study was designed to examine the efficacy of Neuromodulation therapy By using transcutanous electric nerve stimulation( TENS) in Patients With FMS and to provide preliminary evidence regarding its effects on pain ,anxiety and QOL by objectively measuring Cortisol level in FMS patients.

Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Women between 20 and 45 years old
- Diagnosed with fibromyalgia according to the 2016 American College of Rheumatology criteria
- Symptoms present at a similar level for at least three months
- No other disorders causing similar symptoms such as systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, or Lyme disease based on lab tests
You will not qualify if you...
- Any medical, neurological, or psychiatric illness
- Use of strong opioids or other painkillers except paracetamol and/or ibuprofen
- Use of benzodiazepines, illicit drugs, or alcohol
- Recent use of cannabis
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Presence of pain syndromes other than fibromyalgia
- Other autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis or systemic lupus erythematosus
