Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Have type 2 diabetes
- Be 18 years of age or older
You will not qualify if you...
- Have acute coronary syndrome
- Follow a vegetarian diet
- Have impaired kidney function
- Have an absolute indication for proton pump inhibitor
- Be undergoing treatment with organic nitrate
- Have heart failure with ejection fraction less than 35%
- Have any condition that interferes with the ability to complete the study protocol
