This research aims to evaluate the effect of the NURSIM-KID program on how migrant children aged 8 to 11 years, who are hospitalized in the pediatric ward, and their parents perceive the nursing profession. Migrant children often face challenges such as language barriers, cultural differences, and unfamiliar hospital environments, which can negatively affect their views of nursing. The study seeks to improve these perceptions by providing positive and age-appropriate education about nursing, which could enhance childrens and parents attitudes toward healthcare and nursing careers. The study involves two groups one receives the NURSIM-KID program alongside routine hospital care, while the other receives routine care only. The NURSIM-KID program is a structured three-day intervention that introduces children to the hospital setting, nursing roles, and medical equipment using puppets and a picture book. It emphasizes emotional safety, communication, and active participation, ending with a participation certificate to encourage trust and positive attitudes toward nurses. Participants will be assessed before and after the intervention using information forms and nursing image scales. The childrens perceptions of nursing are measured at the start and on day three of the program. Researchers will monitor how the program influences the nursing image held by children and their parents. The total participation includes hospitalization for at least three days, during which these evaluations and the intervention occur.
