Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years
- Diagnosed with end stage renal disease (ESRD) and on regular hemodialysis for at least 3 months
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of systemic diseases other than chronic kidney disease, such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)
- Severe active infections
- Allergies to any ingredients in the omega-3 product used, including fish oil or bovine gelatin
- Consumption of omega-3 fatty acids or other antioxidants within the last 6 months
