Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 18 to 70 years
- Diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea by full-night in-lab or home sleep study following AASM 2012 criteria with apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) over 15 per hour
- Diagnosed with idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss according to AAO-HNS 2019 criteria
- Onset of sudden hearing loss within 1 week before enrollment
You will not qualify if you...
- Sudden hearing loss caused by known reasons
- Presence of severe other medical conditions
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) 15 per hour or less
- Hearing threshold recovered more than 50% at time of inclusion
- Previous regular treatment with positive airway pressure
