Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Surgical intervention duration between 2 and 4 hours
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in Turkish
- Voluntary participation in the study
- No need for intensive care before or after surgery
- No diseases affecting cognitive functions such as dementia or Alzheimer's
- No diseases affecting thermoregulation including COPD, cancer, intracranial tumors, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, or thyroid disorders
- No use of drugs affecting thermoregulation
- Comfortable wearing heated socks during application
You will not qualify if you...
- Mental retardation or any psychiatric disorder
- Addiction to alcohol or drugs
- Diseases affecting cognitive functions such as dementia or Alzheimer's
- Use of drugs that affect thermoregulation
- Discomfort wearing heated socks during application
- Any disease affecting tissue perfusion
- Presence of peripheral arterial or venous disease
- Need for intensive care before or after surgery
