Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 18 and 80 years
- Diagnosed with hypertension with systolic blood pressure 6 140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure 6 90 mmHg based on three measurements on different days
- Currently taking antihypertensive medication but have poor blood pressure control as judged by a research physician
- Able to use smartphones and WeChat proficiently for communication and uploading pictures
- Able to take care of yourself, communicate normally, and willing to cooperate with the research physician to complete the study and follow-up
- Permanent resident of the city where the study center is located
- Voluntarily agree to participate and sign informed consent form
You will not qualify if you...
- Having advanced diseases such as undergoing dialysis or liver failure, or life expectancy less than 2 years
- Having psychiatric disease, cognitive impairment, communication disorder, or inability to cooperate with researchers
- Having cerebrovascular disease, stroke, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, severe heart failure, cancer, or history of organ transplantation
- Being pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to conceive within the next 2 years
