Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Aged between 65 and 80 years
  • Consume 4 or fewer servings of fruits and vegetables daily
  • Eat fish 3 or fewer times per week
  • Able to understand English and perform cognitive tasks
  • Have a normal body mass index for age
  • Have a Mini-Mental State Examination score between 26 and 30
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Diagnosed with psychological or psychiatric disorders
  • Diagnosed with ADHD or dyslexia
  • Have any food allergies or intolerances
  • Use medications or dietary supplements that may affect study results
  • Have taken antibiotics in the last 3 months
  • Follow vegan, vegetarian, or other specific diets that might affect outcomes
  • Diagnosed with cardiometabolic diseases, untreated hypertension, or thrombosis disorders
  • Currently taking blood thinners
