Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients aged between 18 and 80 years who are planned to undergo total enteroscopy for suspected small-bowel disease
  • CT scan of the abdomen performed within two weeks before enteroscopy
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Cases where the procedure ends upon reaching the target lesion and not maximal insertion
  • Poor quality of bowel preparation
  • High risk esophageal varices
  • Insertion route not oral or anal due to anatomical changes
  • Unsuitable for general anesthesia
  • Pregnant women
  • Unable to provide informed consent
