Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 and older
- Undergoing elective unilateral foot or ankle surgery
- Require a post-operative period of non-weight-bearing or partial-weight-bearing as advised by the surgeon
You will not qualify if you...
- Under 18 years of age
- Wheelchair-bound patients
- History of previous use of post-operative mobility devices
- Ankle fractures
- Previously diagnosed cognitive, balance, or mobility impairments
- Undergoing bilateral foot or ankle surgery
- Require follow-ups longer than 6 weeks
