Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 18 and 50 years
- Both males and females
- Body mass index less than 30 kg/m2
- ASA physical status classification 1, II, or III
- Scheduled for elective abdominal surgery with a midline incision
You will not qualify if you...
- Patient refusal to participate
- Infection at the planned injection site
- Known coagulation disorders
- Allergy to medications used in the study
- Pregnant women
- Respiratory tract infection within the previous 2 weeks
- Urgent or emergency abdominal surgery
