Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patient's age ranged from 40 to 50 years old of both genders
- Diagnosed with pneumonia and requiring invasive mechanical ventilation support
- Stable oxygen saturation (SpO2) greater than 85% with FiO2 0.6 or less and PEEP less than 10 cm H2O
- Mean arterial pressure greater than 75 mmHg and urine output more than 1 mL/kg/h
- Glasgow coma scale (GCS) score greater than 8T
- Unconscious or semi-conscious patients
You will not qualify if you...
- Unstable hemodynamics
- Unstable neurological problems such as epileptic seizures or hyperthermia
- Unstable chest wall conditions like multiple rib or vertebral fractures
- Increased intracranial pressure greater than 20 mmHg lasting more than 5 minutes
- Undrained pneumothorax or recent pulmonary surgery
